The first part of this image was taken in a gymnasium using a cherry picker, an evenly lit white background and a main light to one side so that when the image was turned on its side, the light appeared to come from above as sunlight does. The dog was photographed in a park and shaded to enable the sunlight to appear higher than it really was. The background was captured over a period of days to allow the weather conditions and the suns angle to suit the final image.
